Why are our towels so special?

Factory-made Turkish towels are often made from bleached and over-processed fibers. Some even contain polyester to achieve a luxurious drape and initial softness.

• Our 100% natural, sustainably made towels are handwoven from the highest quality, unprocessed cotton and linen fibers.
• Therefore, they require a short "breaking in" period to reveal their true softness and absorbency.
• Once this process is complete, your new towels will become true absorbency champions and will get better and better with time and use.

What should you do before first use?

We recommend soaking it in cold water for 4-6 hours.

• This allows the fibers to fully hydrate, significantly increasing the towel’s absorbency.
• This step also helps remove any production residues and prepares the towel optimally for its first use.
• After soaking, you can wash the towel as usual at 40°C and then start using it.
• The more you use and wash the towel, the softer and more absorbent it will become.

What care routine is recommended?

For the first wash, we recommend 40°C. After that, you can wash your towels at up to 60°C.

• Drying on a line would be perfect.
• Drying in a tumble dryer on a low setting is also possible. But be careful: too much heat can cause slight shrinking of cotton and linen fabrics.
